NYC Halloween Parade: time, route and the parties after

The Village Halloween Parade is on Saturday, October 31, 2026, at 7 PM, marching north on Sixth Avenue from Canal Street to 15th Street. Watching is free from the sidewalks, and anyone in costume can march for free by joining the lineup at Canal Street and Sixth Avenue between 6:30 and 9 PM. This year's theme is "Body & Soul."

Getting there

  • Streets around the route close, so take the subway: Spring St (C, E), W 4th St and 14th St stations are on or near the route.

  • The stretch from Bleecker Street to 14th Street is the most crowded. Arrive early or watch further north.

Which nights count as Halloween?

Halloween runs Thursday through Sunday of its week. This year that is Thursday, October 29 to Sunday, November 1, and every party on any of those four nights is on the Halloween list.

When do Halloween parties in New York sell out?

The big rooftop and cruise parties usually sell out in the last two weeks of October. Prices step up as tiers sell, so the price you see today is the lowest it will be.

Are tickets refundable?

Tickets are final sale, but most parties let you transfer a ticket to a friend up to the day of the event. The full policy is on every event page before checkout.
